The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking contractors to provide comprehensive services for durable medical equipment (DME) at the North Texas Veterans Health Care System. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs, North Texas VA Health Care System - Contracting office: Central Texas Veterans HCS, Temple, TX - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Products/Services Requested: - Storage, delivery, setup/installation, pickup, cleaning, disinfecting, minor repairs, patient and caregiver education, home safety assessments, inventory control, and preventive maintenance for VA-owned DME - Services must support approximately 11,000 patients across multiple Texas counties - Emergency delivery and inventory management are required - All services must comply with JCAHO standards - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Preference for SDVOSB/VOSB vendors with SBA certification - Contract ceiling is $6.5 million - Contract includes a base year plus four option years (total five years) - Patient education and home safety assessments are required as part of service - Performance is primarily in Dallas, TX, with contracting managed from Temple, TX

This is a Sources Sought Notice.  This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, nor quotations.  The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement and will serve as part of the market research for this requirement.   Purpose and Objectives:  Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. NAICS Code:  621610 / Size Standard: $19M SDVOSB/VOSB Preferred, but this is not yet set aside. Vendors should respond via email only to damon.crawford@va.gov.
