This opportunity is a one-time sealed bid sale of metallic and nonmetallic scrap, including a non-working crane, at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, managed by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Disposition Services. - Sale includes approximately 104,000 lbs. of iron and steel scrap, with a minimum guaranteed quantity of 52,000 lbs. - Scrap consists of mixed metals, foreign attachments, highly enameled stock, coated paint cans, tin cans, borings, turnings, and other inferior grades. - Demilitarization Code A applies (no special handling required). - Bidders must comply with base access and environmental regulations. - Full payment is required before removal; purchaser has 30 business days to remove material from Fort Bragg. - No specific OEMs or part numbers are relevant; all material is scrap. - Contracting office is DLA Disposition Services HQ in Battle Creek, MI. - All item details and instructions are provided in the attachments.
