Description
Description of purpose work nature and volume:
The chosen contractor shall provide complete construction services including labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required to complete the 539-26-504 Install SCI Patient Lifts project for the Cincinnati VAMC. This project requires the contractor to remove existing ceiling lift systems where applicable and install new Arjo Maxi Sky 600 patient lifts in designated rooms within the Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) unit. Fulfillment of this project will ensure safe and reliable patient handling, improve staff efficiency, and maintain compliance with VA standards for patient mobility equipment.
The 539-26-504 Install SCI Patient Lifts project is intended to replace outdated ceiling lift systems and install new Arjo Maxi Sky 600 lifts in specified rooms. This construction project requires general construction, detailed inspection of existing conditions, demolition of old lift systems, installation of new ceiling tracks, electrical connections, and functional testing. Coordination with facility staff will be necessary to minimize disruption to patient care.
The above construction Statement Of Work (SOW) constitutes a basic outline of work and in no way outlines all of the details for the construction of this project. It is recommended that a detailed inspection of the premises, drawings and specification be initiated to determine the needs and conditions for the construction of this project.
Period of Performance:
All phases of work, including project closeout documentation, to be completed & provided within 180 calendar days after issuance of the Notice To Proceed (NTP).
