Flood Control, Mississippi River and Tributaries, Indefinite Delivery – Indefinite Quantity Contract, 2026 Stone Placement, Mississippi, Atchafalaya, and Red Rivers, and Old River Control Channels (ED 26-026).

This is an UNRESTRICTED procurement. NAICS Code is 237990. The solicitation, W912P826BA024, is anticipated to issue as an Invitation for Bid (IFB). The resulting contract shall be a Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) procurement. The solicitation will be issued on or about May 22, 2026, and a bid opening date will be on or about June 22, 2026.
Description of Work:
The work consists of various types of stone placement along the banks of the Mississippi River (Miles 325.8 to 0.0 AHP), Atchafalaya River (Miles 0.0 to 137.0), Red River (Miles 6.0 to 11.0), and Old River Control Channels. (The estimated time of completion not to exceed 730 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed.)
The estimated magnitude of construction for this work is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. All qualified business concerns may submit bids. Please note, bids received from large business firms must comply with RFO 19.206 and RFO 52.219-9 regarding the requirement for submission of a subcontracting plan.
