This solicitation is an invitation for prequalification of qualified subcontractors and suppliers for a collaborative design-build agreement for the Energy and Innovation Building at CSU Bakersfield Campus. The project involves the design and construction of a new multi-story Science Building approximately 56,500 GSF, including offices, research laboratories, teaching labs, a capstone design laboratory, and a versatile flex-design event space, as well as flexible outdoor spaces. The project is subject to Public Works and Prevailing Wage regulations. Prequalification packages are due by May 22, 2026, with an estimated construction start date of January 1, 2026, and completion date of June 16, 2027. Outreach goals include a 6% Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) requirement.
