BLM Boise District Fire Extinguisher Inspection and Maintenance Services

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Idaho State Office is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive fire extinguisher maintenance and inspection services for its Boise District facilities and vehicles. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management, Idaho State Office, Boise District - Products and Services Requested: - Annual inspection and maintenance of approximately 300 fire extinguishers - Services include inspection, recharge, hydrostatic testing, 6-year maintenance, and parts replacement - Supply of new fire extinguishers (various sizes) and vehicle brackets - Service for specialized extinguishers (e.g., 150lb wheeled aircraft ramp units) - Miscellaneous parts (brackets, hoses, fittings, valve stem assemblies) - Product Line Items: - 300 annual inspections - 300 tamper seals - 6-year service for 2.5lb (21 units), 5lb (6 units), 10lb (2 units), and 20lb (2 units) extinguishers - New extinguishers: 2.5lb ABC with bracket (5), 5lb ABC (4), 10lb ABC (4), 20lb BC high flow (1) - 16 dry chemical hydrostatic services - 2 services for 150lb wheeled aircraft ramp extinguishers - 30 valve stem assemblies - Miscellaneous parts as needed - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Compliance with OSHA and NFPA standards is mandatory - Service covers both on-campus and off-campus BLM facilities, including fire stations and airbases - Set aside for small businesses (SBA-eligible) - No specific OEMs or brands are named; vendors must be able to service a variety of extinguisher types and sizes - Place of Performance: - Multiple BLM Boise District facilities, including main office, fire operations, engine bay, radio shop, Bruneau and Hammett Fire Stations, Mountain Home SEAT Base, and Boise District Helibase
