Description

This is a Sources Sought Notice / Request for Information (RFI) under the FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services and Simplified Procedures. Notice is for informational only; a solicitation may not be issued. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. Interested parties are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party’s expense. No entitlement to payment by the Government of direct or indirect costs or charges will arise as a result of the submission of information in response to this RFI. Response to this RFI is strictly voluntary and will be used to determine if there is adequate competition. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFQ, if any is issued. All information received shall be safeguarded from unauthorized disclosure.

The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334310 with a small business size standard of 750 employees.

The Government is seeking qualified contractors who can update and fix programming issues/errors with existing Auditorium Audio/Visual (A/V) equipment, located at AFRL/RF, Rome, NY. The requirement requires the contractor to utilize already installed equipment & cable to the maximum extent possible, as well as provide and install new state-of-the-art AV equipment with any applicable cabling, hardware, racks, mounts, and shelves. Anticipated equipment to be replaced include: Video Processing Switcher, Rack Kit, HDMI Transmitter, HDMI Receiver, HDMI to USB Interface, Serial Control Module, Controllable PDU, Catchbox Plus System, Dual Channel Receivers with Body Packs and Microphones, Handheld Transmitters, Charging Sets, Antennas and Transmitters. Any new equipment needs to be interoperable with existing equipment not being replaced.

Also required is the installation and programming of all new and existing equipment, as well as a three (3) year standard support/maintenance plan.

Interested vendors are requested to respond to this RFI no later than 3:00PM EST on 14 MAY 2026 and provide the following information:

a. Demonstration of the firm’s interest and capability to perform the requirements identified above.

b. Explain the firm’s availability of qualified contractor personnel and identification of any areas that would likely require subcontracting or teaming arrangements(s).

c. Provide the companies point of contact for any questions along with your Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), Cage Code and size standard.
