Los Angeles County is seeking a qualified provider to deliver a comprehensive suite of workplace safety training courses for county employees: - Government Buyer: - County of Los Angeles, Internal Services Department (ISD) - Products/Services Requested: - 64 distinct safety training courses covering topics such as hazardous substances, asbestos (awareness, inspector, contractor/supervisor, management planner, O&M), bloodborne pathogens, confined space entry, HAZWOPER, lead awareness, respirable crystalline silica, respiratory protection, hearing conservation, ergonomics (industrial and office), workplace violence, lockout/tagout, first aid/CPR/AED, crane and hoisting equipment, electrical safety (NFPA 70E), mobile equipment, construction safety, radiation, and telecommunication safety - Training must be delivered either virtually or in-person, tailored to specific job classifications (e.g., custodial, construction, maintenance, telecommunication, pest control, steam plant) - Each class is limited to a maximum of 25 students and must include interactive components - Courses are priced per session, with frequency varying by topic (annual or every 2-5 years) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Contractor must have at least five years of relevant safety experience and demonstrated adult training expertise - Training must comply with ANSI/ASSP Z490.1 standards - Combination of virtual and in-person hands-on instruction required for certain courses - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named in the solicitation - Place of Performance: - All training to be delivered within the County of Los Angeles jurisdiction
