The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking construction services for concrete maintenance pads at the Fort Wayne VA Medical Center in Indiana. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 10, Veterans Health Administration - Contracting managed by offices in Cincinnati, OH and Dayton, OH - Scope of Work: - Construction of one concrete pad behind Building #8 and additional pads in front of Buildings T-4, T-5, and T-6 - Pads must be 6 inches thick, reinforced with rebar, and include powder-coated aluminum railings with gates or removable sections - Water management features: flashing to prevent water buildup and formed concrete to direct flow to two preset drains - Includes metal fabrications such as structural steel supports, frames, guards, gratings, ladders, railings, and bollards, all fabricated to ASTM and AWS standards - All concrete and materials must meet ASTM and ACI standards for quality and workmanship - Notable Requirements: - Set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) - Firm-fixed-price contract - Work must be completed within 60 calendar days from notice to proceed - No specific OEMs, vendors, or part numbers are identified in the solicitation or attachments

The Fort Wayne VA Medical Center has a construction requirement for a concrete pad behind Building #8 for maintenance support for existing building electrical, HVAC, and minor repair. 

All required work is located at the Fort Wayne Northern Indiana Health Care System Campus located at 2121 Lake Avenue Fort Wayne, IN 46805.
