The work includes conducting studies on bacteriological water quality in shellfish areas in Gaspésie and the Magdalen Islands, collecting seawater samples, performing bacteriological analyses in an accredited laboratory, measuring physical and meteorological factors during sampling, entering data into the Regional Shellfish Sanitation Information Platform, and providing sampling plans and field documentation.
