Description
Alberta Environment and Protected Areas (EPA) is seeking proposals for eDNA monitoring of aquatic invasive species (AIS) in high-priority waterbodies in the southern region of Alberta. The project aims to detect invasive mussels and fish diseases early to enable timely response and containment. The monitoring will take place during the optimal summer season from June 22, 2026, to December 31, 2027. This initiative supports the protection of Alberta's water infrastructure and fisheries from invasive species threats.
