Description

This notice announces a new matching program between the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Social Security Administration (SSA). CMS will disclose certain individuals' admission and discharge information for care received in nursing care facilities to SSA. The information will be used by SSA to administer the Supplemental Security Income (SSI) program efficiently and to identify Special Veterans' Benefits (SVB) beneficiaries who are no longer residing outside the United States.
