Description

MARC seeks an experienced consultant to develop a regional transportation vulnerability and resiliency plan for the Kansas City region. The project aims to create analytical tools and decision-making supports to enhance the transportation system's ability to withstand and recover from disruptive events such as flooding, drought, and extreme heat. The work includes inventorying assets, hazard identification, risk assessment, and developing actionable recommendations for infrastructure upgrades and resilience strategies. This is the second phase of a two-part planning process building on a previous report and includes integration into regional planning tools.
