The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's Force Protection Division is seeking industry input for a large-scale, long-term contract to provide Integrated Base Defense Security Systems (IBDSS) and related services for Air Force Security Forces. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Air Force, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Force Protection Division (AFLCMC/ESS) - Contracting office at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, with additional government facilities at Hanscom Air Force Base and the Air Force Pentagon - Products and Services Requested: - Integrated Base Defense Security Systems (IBDSS), including physical security intrusion detection systems (IDS) - Design, development, procurement, installation, integration, testing, certification, and sustainment of electronic security systems - Network infrastructure configuration and installation (layer 2 & 3, firewalls, VPN, AAA, NTP, SNMP, SysLog servers) - Cybersecurity compliance and support (DoD technical requirements, DISA STIGs, certified personnel, IA documentation) - Physical security systems design, engineering documentation, security studies, and modeling/simulation - Operation and maintenance of cloud computing environments supporting IDS and force protection systems - Unique or Notable Requirements: - 10-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with an estimated ceiling of $1 billion - 50+ installation and sustainment projects across multiple CONUS and OCONUS Department of War locations - Respondents must have SECRET-level security clearance - Demonstrated experience in physical security IDS, network engineering, and software/cloud integration is required - Compliance with DoD cybersecurity and network standards is mandatory - No specific OEMs, vendors, part numbers, or product quantities are specified at this stage - The government is seeking comprehensive, integrated solutions from qualified industry partners

Description

The Force Protection Division (AFLCMC/ESS) is seeking information regarding the acquisition and sustainment of Integrated Base Defense (IBD) physical security and force protection electronic security systems, equipment, and system integration capabilities. The purpose of this initiative is to better understand industry capability to provide electronic security intrusion detection systems capabilities to the Air Force Security Forces community as a means to deter, anticipate, deny, detect, report, delay, assess, and track hostile and potentially hostile forces and targets for the protection of resources, work environments, and personnel.
