This solicitation is for renovations to the existing Shuman Juvenile Detention Center, a facility of approximately 117,000 square feet on an 18-acre property. The renovations will maintain the facility's I-3 occupancy classification and include level 3 alterations. Phase 2 work will cover up to 70,000 square feet of interior space to house 60 juveniles, staff, and visitors, including housing pods, classrooms, visitation rooms, intake, medical, recreation spaces, multi-purpose room, offices, kitchen, and support spaces.
