The U.S. Army, through the 99th Readiness Division Directorate of Public Works at Fort Dix, is seeking contractor input for the Extended MEP Lot Repair project at Fort Story, Virginia. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Army, 99th Readiness Division, Directorate of Public Works, Fort Dix, NJ - Project Scope: - Removal and replacement of approximately 1,000 linear feet of chain link fencing (including fabric, poles, ties, and barbed wire top guard) - Removal of one existing 28-foot double swing manual gate and installation of one new 28-foot manual sliding cantilever gate - Supply and installation of four new dual-head 30-foot aluminum parking lot light poles, including bases, wiring, and associated electrical work - Milling and repaving of approximately 46,000 square feet of the Military Equipment Parking (MEP) lot, including crack repair, tack coat, wear course installation, and edge sealing - Site clearing and grubbing of vegetation 10 feet outside the perimeter fence line, with offsite disposal in compliance with environmental regulations - Notable Requirements: - All work must comply with federal and military standards and environmental regulations - Work must be completed within 120 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed - Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, excluding federal holidays; off-hours work requires prior written approval - No specific OEMs, vendors, or part numbers are identified in the solicitation - Place of Performance: Fort Story USARC #2, 999 Lingayan Gulf Road, Fort Story, VA
