Description
ʔaq̓am First Nation is seeking to continue a long-term monitoring program to assess the efficacy of goat grazing used for the suppression of sulphur cinquefoil on Kootenay IR 1. The program involves monitoring native vegetation, biodiversity, and management of the invasive sulphur cinquefoil using 31 transects with permanent monitoring plots. The awarded bidder will have access to all previous relevant data and reports related to grazing monitoring on ʔaq̓am’s lands.
