The Town of Qualicum Beach is seeking qualified contractors to complete the Little Qualicum River Erosion Protection project south of Waters Road in Qualicum Beach, BC. The work involves stabilizing an actively eroding riverbank that threatens a buried municipal watermain by constructing four in-stream rock spurs, along with clearing, isolation of work areas, excavation, rock placement, large woody debris installation, erosion and sediment control, bank reinstatement, and riparian restoration planting.
