INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE GENERAL INFORMATION This notice follows the Federal Acquisition Regulation Deviations outlined in the Federal Acquisition Regulation Overhaul as required by Executive Order (E.O.) 14275, Restoring Common Sense to Federal Procurement signed April 15, 2025.
The Government plans to issue a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 6.103 and Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) 819.7008 Sole Source Awards to Verified SDVOSBs, which authorizes direct contracting with SDVOSBs. The contract is to install reverse osmosis deionization water system at Dublin VA Medical Center. The designated source is Semper Tek Inc. 2200 N. Patterson St. Valdosta, GA 31602.
In accordance with FAR Part 6, contracts awarded using this authority must be supported by a written justification, and approval will be posted within fourteen (14) days after contract award if the dollar amount meets the threshold. The Government will review all capability statements received by the closing date of this synopsis. The decision not to compete based on responses is solely at the Government's discretion. The information received will be used only to determine whether to pursue a competitive procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 236220 COMMERCIAL AND INSTITUTIONAL BUILDING CONSTRUCTION" size standard of $45 Million.
