NASA Sole Source Procurement of Multiple Flowmaxx Critical Flow Venturis and Hardware

NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC) is seeking to procure multiple FlowMaxx Critical Flow Venturis (CFVs) and related hardware for use at NASA Stennis Space Center (SSC) in Mississippi. - Sole source procurement is intended for STUART A COLE DBA Flowmaxx Engineering, the identified OEM for these specific CFVs - Required CFV models include SNP02-SGR14-100, SNP02-SGR14-160, SNP02-SGR14-265, SNP02-SGR14-430, SNP04-SGR31-710, SNP04-SGR31-1160, and SNP04-SGR31-1500 - Each CFV must match specified geometry, throat contour, materials, and interface specifications - Deliverables include serialized CFVs, NIST-traceable calibration certificates, adapter flanges, Grayloc hardware (2" and 4"), and venturi drawings with maximum allowable working pressure (MAWP) - Adapter flanges and Grayloc hardware must be compatible with existing SSC mechanical interfaces; no substitutions allowed - NIST-traceable air calibrations for the specified Reynolds number ranges are required - Acceptance is contingent on compliance with specifications, complete calibration data, and undamaged components - The NAICS code is 334513 (instruments and related products), and the acquisition will use commercial item procedures under FAR Part 12 - Place of performance and delivery is NASA Stennis Space Center, with procurement managed by NASA/NSSC

Description

Synopsis:

NASA/NSSC has a requirement for Critical Flow Venturi/SNP02-SGR14-100. 

NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to STUART A COLE DBA Flowmaxx Engineering  under the authority of FAR 12.102(a). It has been determined that STUART A COLE DBA Flowmaxx Engineering is the sole provider of Critical Flow Venturi/SNP02-SGR14-100.

NASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort. Performance will be located at NASA/ Stennis Space Center (SSC).

The Government intends to acquire Commercial items or services using the provisions, clauses and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12 for Commercial

The NAICS Code for this procurement is 334513.

Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 12:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on 5/11/2026. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
