This opportunity seeks industry input for the supply, delivery, and installation of a Stratasys F900 polymer 3D printer system and associated components at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. - Government Buyer: - Department of Defense, Department of the Air Force, Pacific Air Forces, 36th Contracting Squadron (36 CONS LGC) - OEM Highlight: - Stratasys is the sole specified Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for all major products and services - Products Requested: - F900 Preferred System (1 unit, part number 125-00901) - F900 System (2 units total, part number 125-60000) - Consumables and materials for Fortus/F900 systems, including ASA, SR30, SUP8000B, SUP8500B, ANTERO 800NA, ABS30 BLU, ULTEM 9085, and others (quantities range from 6 to 12 per item) - Material licenses for a wide range of polymers and composites (e.g., ABS-M30, ABS-ESD7, PC-ABS, ULTEM 9085, NYLON 12, ANTERO 800NA, etc.) - Accessories and support equipment: Waterworks/P400 Soluble Concentrate, equivalency tools kit, vacuum oven, scroll pump, analytical balance, power line conditioner, third-party parts, hardened print heads, purge ledge block, FDM tips, sheet bundles, and Omegasonics tank - Software and licenses: GrabCAD Print Pro (1-year), Streamline Pro (1-year), GC-SLPRO with Shield Kit, Streamline Pro Shield Kit - Services Requested: - Level 1 On-Site Installation and Training (3 sessions, part number OBJ-08400) - Level 2 Advanced FDM Operator Training at Stratasys (1 session, part number TR-FDM101S) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and services necessary for delivery, installation, and training must be provided - Total small business set-aside under NAICS 333248 (All Other Industrial Machinery) - Delivery and installation at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam - Place of Performance: - Andersen Air Force Base, Guam (primary delivery and installation site) - This is a sources sought notice, not a solicitation or award

Description

Sources Sought: The 36th Contracting Squadron is publicizing this SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to gather industry interest and information with respect to a potential Purchase of for F900 Stratasys at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam in accordance with (IAW) Attachment 1 – Itemized Product Codes. No solicitation is being issued at this time. This is not a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. The Air Force will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice. Any future solicitation, including specifications, will be made available on the System for Award Management website (https://www.sam.gov/). Interested parties are solely responsible for monitoring the aforementioned website for the release of a solicitation package and/or any updates/amendments.  Oral submissions of information will not be considered in response to this Sources Sought. If the Government decides to pursue a solicitation, portions of your responses to this Sources Sought may be incorporated into the final solicitation.  Respondents are discouraged from submitting any information deemed competition-sensitive or proprietary.

The Contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to manage, deliver and install one (1) F900 Stratasys polymer 3D Printer.

This requirement will be solicited within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 333248 - All Other Industrial Machinery.

This acquisition is being considered as a total small business set-aside.

All interested parties are invited to respond and prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov/ before award of a government contract; failure to register in the SAM database will cause your firm to be ineligible for any future award.

To assist the Government in developing a potential acquisition strategy, please provide the following information:

1.  GENERAL INFORMATON:

a.   Company name, address, point of contact, voice and fax telephone numbers and e-mail address.

b.   Type of business, (i.e., small, 8a, woman-owned, Hub Zone, serviced-disabled veteran-owned small business, large business, etc.).

c.    Under which NAICS code does your company usually provide the aforementioned requirements.

d.    Please describe any customary commercial contract terms or conditions that you feel would make any resulting contract more effective if applicable.

2.  CAPABILITIES:  The Air Force is seeking qualified, experienced sources interested in meeting the requirements detailed above. Please address the following regarding your capabilities in meeting the requirements contained in the attached documents:
