The Federal Bureau of Prisons at FCI Bennettsville is seeking small business suppliers for its 4th quarter subsistence needs: - Government Buyer: - Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution Bennettsville - Products Requested: - Wide range of food and subsistence products, including: - Dry and canned beans (e.g., black, kidney, garbanzo, pinto, navy, great northern) - Rice (10,000 lbs), pasta (2,500 units macaroni, 400 units spaghetti), and flour (1,000 lbs) - Meats: beef (ground, patties, roast, sandwich steaks), chicken (breast, quarters, tenders, filets), pork (roast, sausage), turkey (roast), fish fillets - Dairy: cheddar cheese (5,000 lbs), pasteurized whole milk (19,500 dozen 8 oz containers) - Bread and bakery: whole wheat bread (8,580 loaves), sandwich and finger rolls, biscuits (35,000 units) - Frozen prepared pizza (30,000 units), tortillas (15,000 units), soy protein products, tofu - Canned and frozen vegetables (green beans, carrots, corn, peas, spinach, green peppers) - Condiments and staples: peanut butter, shortening, salad dressing, jelly (60,000 units), brown and white sugar, table syrup, curry powder - Snacks: tortilla chips, soy chicken chunks/patties - Cereal (bran flakes, rolled oats) - Notable Requirements: - All products must comply with federal food safety and labeling regulations, including allergen labeling and National Menu Specifications - Temperature and packaging requirements for perishable, frozen, and canned goods - Delivery must be scheduled with the receiving warehouse, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays - Large volume orders for certain items (e.g., 30,000 frozen pizzas, 19,500 dozen milk containers, 7,000 lbs chicken tenders) - No specific OEMs or brand names are specified; products must meet federal standards - Place of Performance: - FCI Bennettsville, 696 Muckerman Road, Bennettsville, SC 29512

Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Bennettsville, South Carolina intends to issue solicitation 15B31726Q00000018 for the requirements of QUARTERLY Subsistence. This solicitation is restricted, set aside 100% for Small Business, FOB Destination, and the delivery date will be on or around July 1, 2026. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution, 696 Muckerman Road, Bennettsville, South Carolina 29512. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards and will award to the responsible vendor(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is considered the most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered equally. The solicitation will be made available on or about May 6, 2026, and will be posted to the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website, https://sam.gov. Hard Copies of the solicitation will not be available. This site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this solicitation, including amendments and award information will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. Quotes will be due May 22, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. The Government reserves the right to make payment using either Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or the Government Purchase Card. Each vendor is required to be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM); information can be obtained at www.sam.gov. Each offeror is required per 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the Online Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations can submit quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
