The U.S. Air Force, through the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's Electronic Systems Directorate, is seeking Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) for terrestrial-based air defense sensors in the National Capital Region. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Electronic Systems Directorate (ES), Ground-Based Air Defense Sensors Division (ESG) - Products/Services Requested: - Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) for terrestrial air defense sensors - Field service support, including 24/7/365 system monitoring, onsite maintenance, and emergency depot-level repairs - Depot-level maintenance: modifications, hardware/software updates, repair of failed Line Replaceable Units (LRUs), repair tracking, and disposition/sanitization planning - Fabrication and machining for damaged antennas - Hardware and software maintenance - Cybersecurity compliance and support for government recurring testing - Sustainment of system availability and reliability metrics - Technical data management and integrated logistics support - Unique/Notable Requirements: - 5-year SECRET-level sustainment contract - Vendors must have experience with classified systems and two-level maintenance (organizational and depot) - 24/7 monitoring and rapid emergency repair capability required - Support for both hardware and software, including cybersecurity - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or sensor models are identified in the solicitation - Quantities: - No specific quantities or sensor models are provided - Place of Performance: - National Capital Region airspace (primary area of sensor operation) - Hanscom Air Force Base, MA (contracting office and possible support location)

Description

This effort is for the Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) for multiple Air Force terrestrial-based air defense sensors to detect and track threats in the complex National Capital Region airspace in support of the air sovereignty and aerospace defense missions of North American Aerospace Defense /United States Northern Command. These sensors rely upon contractor technical expertise for field site or service support and Integrated Logistics Support. CLS also includes activities associated with system lifecycle sustainment and technical data elements or packages. The systems use a two-level maintenance concept (i.e., Organizational (O-Level) and Depot (D-Level)). The maintenance is performed by the CLS Contractor and coordinated with the Program Management Office.
