The Port of Tacoma is seeking a contractor for the West Sitcum 11th St. Improvements project at its Tacoma facility. - Government Buyer: - Port of Tacoma (local government agency) - Project Scope: - Demolition and removal of approximately 6,200 square feet of existing gravel and asphalt pavement - Subgrade preparation, grading, and sawcutting/trenching for new stormwater system - Procurement and installation of a new stormwater treatment system, including catch basins and oil-water separator - Installation of approximately 6,200 square feet of new asphalt pavement - Procurement and installation of security fencing and new yard (LED) lighting fixtures with controls - Protection of all existing utilities during construction - Mobilization, demobilization, project administration, and surface material disposal - Allowance for unforeseen conditions - Products/Services Requested: - Stormwater treatment structures (375 units) - Type 1 catch basins (300 units) - Yard lighting (300 units) - Security fencing (2 units) - Asphalt surfacing and related materials - Storm drain installation (8 units) - Pavement sawcutting (50 units) - Surface material disposal (550 units) - Notable Requirements: - Compliance with Washington State prevailing wage laws - 15% apprenticeship participation for projects over $1 million - Liquidated damages for late completion - Substantial completion required within 180 days, final completion within 30 days thereafter - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Estimated contract value: $300,000 to $350,000 plus sales tax

This solicitation is for the demolition and removal of approximately 6,200 square feet of existing gravel and asphalt pavement, subgrade preparation and grading, pavement sawcutting and trenching for a new stormwater treatment system, procurement and installation of the stormwater treatment system, installation of approximately 6,200 square feet of new asphalt pavement, procurement and installation of security fencing and LED lighting fixtures with controls, and protection of all existing utilities.
