The City of Winter Springs is seeking proposals for a major water infrastructure project: - Government buyer: City of Winter Springs - Purchasing Department - Scope of work: - Construction and installation of approximately 1,300 linear feet of 8-inch reclaimed water main along Tuskawilla Road (from Blumberg Boulevard to Fanning Drive) - Construction and installation of approximately 3,500 linear feet of 8-inch reclaimed water main along Michael Blake Blvd, connecting to an existing 12-inch reclaimed water main at SR 434 - Products/services requested: - 8-inch reclaimed water main (1,300 linear feet) - 8-inch reclaimed water main (3,500 linear feet) - Notable requirements: - Project is partially funded by a State of Florida Appropriation Request; compliance with grant agreement conditions is mandatory - Electronic plan files are provided for bidders - Adherence to all grant and city requirements is required - No specific OEMs or product part numbers are identified in the solicitation - Potential bidders (not OEMs) include: Accurate Drilling Systems, Atlantic Civil Constructors, Blue Ox Enterprises, Gibbs & Register, H2M Architects & Engineers, Midsouth Inc., R.J. The City of Winter Springs is requesting proposals for the construction and installation of approximately 1,300 linear feet of 8-inch reclaimed water main from the intersection of Blumberg Boulevard and Tuskawilla Road to Fanning Drive along Tuskawilla Road, and 3,500 linear feet of 8-inch reclaimed water main along Michael Blake Blvd to connect to the existing 12-inch reclaimed water main at SR 434. This project is partially funded by a State of Florida Appropriation Request, and proposers must review the grant agreement conditions. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for May 13 at 2pm at the public parking lot next to the fountain at the intersection of Blumberg Blvd and Tuskawilla Rd.
