Description
The City of Merced Public Works Department is soliciting proposals for vegetation weed abatement services at various locations including Water Well Sites, Roadways, Alley Right of Ways, Traffic Signal/Lighting Warehouse, Refuse Storage Container Yard, Refuse Bulky Item Transfer Station, Police Stations, Airport Runways and Taxiways, Storm Pump Station Ponding Basins, and associated banks, Maintenance Districts, and Community Facilities Districts. The selected vendor(s) will perform tasks as specified in the Scope of Services attached to the RFP. The contract term is for 24 months starting July 1, 2026, with an option to extend for up to three additional one-year periods. Proposals must comply with Labor Code provisions and require a Qualified Applicator License from the California Department of Pesticide Regulation at submission time.
