The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Northwest Oregon District, is seeking contractor support for prescribed fire operations to reduce wildfire risk across multiple federal forest offices in Oregon and Washington. - Government Buyer: - Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Northwest Oregon District, under the Department of the Interior - Contracting office at the National Interagency Fire Center, Boise, Idaho - Products and Services Requested: - Prescribed fire support services, including: - Fire line construction and maintenance (hand and mechanical) - Fuels pullback and removal - Ignition, holding, mop-up, and patrol for prescribed burns - Prescribed fire modules (engine and 3-person crew modules) - Hand pile burning and mop-up - Engine module support for prescribed burns (30 modules requested) - Personnel and Equipment Requirements: - All key personnel must meet National Wildfire Coordinating Group (NWCG) qualifications - Engine modules must include a Type VI engine (minimum 250 gallons) and a 3-person crew (engine boss and two crew members) with specified tools and water delivery systems - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Contractors must be available for 24-hour notification during specified burn windows (April 1–June 30 and September 15–December 1) - Emphasis on safety, environmental protection, and compliance with prescribed fire plans - Work may be stopped or adjusted due to safety, environmental, or cultural resource concerns - Set aside for small businesses under NAICS 115310 - Locations: - Work performed across the Northwest Oregon District, including Cascades, Marys Peak, Siuslaw, Tillamook, and Upper Willamette Field Offices - Contracting and delivery offices in Boise, Idaho, and Salem, Oregon
