Description

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary moving safety zone for the navigable waters surrounding Key West, Florida, to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment during the Key West Paddle Classic event. The safety zone covers all navigable waters along a specified course around Key West and extends 50 yards in front and behind the safety vessels and 100 yards on either side of event participants. Entry into this zone is prohibited unless authorized by the Captain of the Port, Key West, or their designated representative. The safety zone will be enforced from 6 a.m. until 5 p.m. on May 9, 2026.
