Description
This notice announces the Presidential declaration of an emergency for the State of Montana (FEMA-3630-EM), dated December 19, 2025, due to severe storms and flooding beginning on December 10, 2025, and continuing. The declaration authorizes assistance for emergency protective measures (Category B) limited to direct Federal assistance under the Public Assistance program. Federal funds provided under the Stafford Act for Public Assistance will be limited to 75 percent of the total eligible costs. The designated affected areas include Lincoln and Sanders Counties and the Blackfeet Tribe of the Blackfeet Indian Reservation.
