Description
This notice announces the Presidential declaration of an emergency for the State of Tennessee (FEMA-3635-EM), dated January 24, 2026, due to a severe winter storm beginning on January 22, 2026, and continuing. The declaration authorizes the provision of emergency protective measures (Category B) limited to direct Federal assistance under the Public Assistance program for all 95 counties in Tennessee. Federal assistance is supplemental and limited to 75 percent of the total eligible costs. Mary Hernandez Marrero of FEMA is appointed as the Federal Coordinating Officer for this declared emergency.
