The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), through the Veterans Health Administration and National Cemetery Administration, is seeking public comment on information collection activities for several veteran-focused grant and reimbursement programs: - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) - Veterans Health Administration (VHA) - National Cemetery Administration (NCA) - Programs and Services Requested: - Legal Services for Homeless Veterans and Veterans At-Risk for Homelessness (LSVH) Grant Program - Grant funding for organizations to provide legal services to homeless veterans or those at risk - Application, renewal, performance reporting, and budget change requirements via VA Forms 10318a, 10318b, 10319a, and 10319b - Notable requirements: Demonstration of financial stability, program capacity, and compliance with federal regulations and reporting - Reimbursement of Qualifying Adoption Expenses for Certain Veterans - Reimbursement for adoption-related expenses for veterans with service-connected disabilities using VA Form 1010152 - Request for Casket/Urn Allowance - Allowance for purchase of caskets and urns for interment of veterans without next of kin or sufficient resources, using VA Form 4010088 - No Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or commercial product vendors are involved, as these are grant and reimbursement programs for services - Estimated annual responses and time burdens are provided for each program - All programs require compliance with federal reporting and eligibility requirements

This notice announces that the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), will submit a collection of information to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review and comment. The collection supports the Legal Services for Homeless Veterans and Veterans At-Risk for Homelessness (LSV-H) Grant Program, which provides funding to eligible organizations to coordinate or provide legal services to veterans who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
