The USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS) is seeking janitorial and custodial services for its Cereal Crops Research Unit (CCRU) facility in Madison, Wisconsin. - Government Buyer: - United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Cereal Crops Research Unit (CCRU) - Contracting office: ARS Acquisition and Property Division, Beltsville, MD - Products/Services Requested: - Comprehensive janitorial and custodial services for a 35,000 sq. ft. federal research facility - Includes cleaning of offices, library, conference rooms, break room, restrooms, and hallways - On-site cleaning three times weekly (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) - Trash removal, surface cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, restroom disinfection - Contractor must provide trained personnel, supervision, and coordination - Supply and distribution of consumables: - Tri-fold paper towels (16 cases/year) - Two-ply standard roll toilet paper (4 cases/year, 80 rolls) - 24 x 32 15-gallon trash bags (12 cases/year, 6000 total) - 33 x 39 33-gallon trash bags (12 cases/year, 3000 total) - Hard wound roll towels 8" wide (6 cases/year, 36 total) - Kleenex (or similar) 2-ply facial tissue (4 cases/year, 108 boxes) - Gojo 5665 (or similar) foaming hand wash (18 cases/year, 36 total) - 2-ply kitchen roll paper towels (12 cases/year, 144 rolls) - Purell GOJ911802 (or similar) hand sanitizing wipes (3 cases/year, 6 packages) - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Mandatory site visit required for prospective bidders - Compliance with federal anti-discrimination and workforce integrity laws - Small business set-aside under NAICS 561720 (Janitorial Services) - Contract includes a one-year base period, four one-year option periods, and a possible six-month extension (up to 5.5 years total) - All services and deliveries must occur during normal business hours at the CCRU loading dock - No specific OEMs or brand-name vendors are mandated, but "or similar" language allows for equivalent products - All service and supply details are provided in the Statement of Work and attachments

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
