CAL FIRE is seeking bids for a full HVAC system replacement at the Boggs Mountain Helitack Base main office and kitchen. - Government Buyer: - California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE), Lake-Napa-Sonoma Units (LNU), Boggs Mountain Helitack Base - OEMs and Vendors: - Bryant (specified as preferred OEM for HVAC equipment) - Equivalent products from other manufacturers are acceptable - Products/Services Requested: - Complete removal and replacement of the existing HVAC system - Bryant 3-ton 18 SEER2 High Heat Ducted Heat Pump or equivalent - Indoor fan coil, heat pump condenser, condenser pad - WiFi programmable thermostat, fused disconnect, refrigerant line flush - New filter with ionizer, plenum modification or replacement, power cord with fuse protection, line set flush, sealing of connections, supply boots and return - Installation, removal, and disposal services for old equipment - 10-year parts and labor warranty - 10-year maintenance program - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Like-for-like replacement with Bryant or equivalent models - Contractor must provide all materials, labor, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees - C-20 Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning Contractor license required - Compliance with prevailing wage laws if contract exceeds $1,000 - Encouragement of participation from Small Businesses and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE) - Mandatory pre-bid conference at the project site - Contract term is approximately one year, with possible one-year extension - Includes a comprehensive 10-year warranty and maintenance program
