SUNY Buffalo is seeking qualified contractors for the resurfacing and improvement of exterior basketball courts at the University at Buffalo, Erie County, NY. - Government Buyer: - State University of New York (SUNY), SUNY Buffalo - Contact: Amanda Brandis, Buyer/Purchasing - Products and Services Requested: - Asphalt resurfacing of approximately 26,250 sq ft of exterior basketball court - Removal and replacement of 8 commercial-grade fixed basketball stanchions with tempered glass 72" backboards and heavy-duty breakaway hoops - Application of two coats of acrylic resurfacer and two coats of acrylic color coating (SportMaster Sport Surfaces or approved equivalent) - Regulation basketball court striping using appropriate outdoor athletic surface materials - Complete basketball court resurfacing services, including all labor, equipment, materials, supervision, and incidentals - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Bidders must have at least three years of relevant experience in similar court resurfacing projects - Mandatory pre-bid site visit/walkthrough - Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Women Business Enterprise (WBE) participation goals (15.90% and 14.10%, respectively) - Strict adherence to designated communication protocols and mandatory registration in the eProcurement system - All work must be completed by the specified deadline after Notice to Proceed - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; SportMaster Sport Surfaces is referenced as an approved equivalent for acrylic coatings
