DLA Maritime - Puget Sound is seeking to procure steel drum pails for delivery to a federal naval facility in Washington state. - Government Buyer: - Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Maritime - Puget Sound Contracting Division, Bremerton, WA - OEMs and Vendors: - Cleveland Steel (OEM for the specified drum pails) - Products/Services Requested: - 1,080 units of 5-gallon steel drum pails - Part Number: 1A2/Y36/S - Features: Removable lid with gasket (crimped top), standard height, slightly tapered sides, bail handle, steel construction, painted black, lined with rust inhibitor, compliant with 49 CFR Part 178, 108 units per pallet - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Manufacturer and country of manufacture must be specified in quotes - Drum pails must be delivered to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard IMF in Bremerton, WA - Strict security and compliance requirements, including DBIDS access for contractors and adherence to FAR/DFARS clauses - COTS items are exempt from NIST SP 800-171 cybersecurity requirements if properly identified - Firm fixed price contract; electronic submission and invoicing required

THIS SOLICITATION AND ANY SUBSEQUENT AMENDMENTS WILL BE POSTED TO THE  SAM WEBSITE: SAM.GOV

ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION OF QUOTES IS AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SAM WEBSITE.

If choosing to quote, please complete and return the solicitation packet to me by the closing date to be considered.  

IN ORDER TO BE DEEMED RESPONSIVE, THE SOLICITATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN ITS ENTIRETY, AND MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

1. Fill out box 17A, then Read box 28 and sign page 1 boxes 30 a, b, and c.

2. Provide your cage code.

3. Please quote FOB Destination Bremerton, WA.

4. Annotate the lead time.

5. Annotate the name of the manufacturer, and the products country of manufacturing.

6. Return this information with your quote.

In order to be considered for award, if the contractor (awardee) is required to implement NIST SP 800-171, the contractor (awardee) shall have a current assessment as detailed in DFARS 252.204-7019 (I.E., not more than 3 years old unless a lesser time is specified in the solicitation)

Items deemed to be Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) are exempt from NIST SP 800-171 requirement.  Must identify and provide information to contracting officer on bid during solicitation period
