The University of Calgary intends to purchase the BioDent Reference Point Indentation system, including Ex-Vivo Bone Stage, Digital Visualization System, Consumables, Remote Training & Installation, with Annual Standard Service Plan from Active Life Scientific, Inc. This system supports research investigating the effects of type 1 diabetes and obesity on bone health during childhood and adolescence. Active Life Scientific is the sole manufacturer and provider of this patented technology, which is uniquely capable of meeting the research requirements.
