Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab), under the U.S. Department of Energy, is seeking a subcontractor for the ICB-A Angstrom E-Beam ECR Vacuum Electrical Feed construction project at its Batavia, Illinois campus. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of Energy, Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab) - Fermi Forward Discovery Group, LLC (FFDG) Procurement Department and Construction Management Office - OEMs and Vendors: - Square D (manufacturer of specified electrical safety switches and breakers) - Products/Services Requested: - Construction and installation of electrical infrastructure for the Angstrom E-Beam ECR Vacuum Deposition System (100A feed) and Haskris Chiller (60A feed) - Key products include: - Square D VH323BRBGL Safety Disconnect Switch (1 unit) - Square D VH322BRBGL Safety Disconnect Switch (1 unit) - Square D HDL36100 Breaker (1 unit) - Square D QOB360 Breaker (1 unit) - EMT conduit and fittings, THHN conductors (#3, #4, #6, #8, #10 AWG), fire-rated sealant (Metacaulk 66648 or equivalent) - Services include: - Full-scope electrical construction: labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, safety oversight, quality control, and coordination - Installation of conduits, junction boxes, disconnect switches, breakers, panel modifications, labeling, phase rotation verification, and cleanup - Unique or Notable Requirements: - All work must comply with detailed safety, quality, and insurance provisions - Key personnel must have relevant electrical experience and safety training - Coordination with Fermilab operations and compliance with ES&H (Environment, Safety & Health) requirements - Project is a small business set-aside under NAICS 238210 (Electrical Contractors) - Firm fixed price, Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) competition - No government-furnished materials or equipment; subcontractor provides all - Strict milestone schedule: project completion within approximately 28 days from Notice to Proceed - Place of Performance: - Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab), including ICBA Industrial Complex, ICBA Electrical Room, and QCLII Laboratory Area, Batavia, Illinois

Description

The Subcontractor shall perform all work as described in the Statement of Work for the ICB-A Angstrom E-Beam ECR Vacuum included as Exhibit A and drawing included as Exhibit B.  All work shall include transportation, overhead, bonding costs, insurance, safety oversight, quality control oversight, and supervision as required to construct the project described in the scope of work, and the detailed description contained herein.
