This opportunity seeks a contractor to replace fencing at five buildings on Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi: - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, 14th Civil Engineer Squadron (14 CES), Air Education and Training Command - Products and Services Requested: - Removal of existing wooden fencing and installation of new brown 6-foot-high chain-link fences with brown vinyl-coated slats - Building 158: 110 linear feet of fencing, one 7'x6' swing gate - Building 530: 59 linear feet of fencing, one 4'x6' swing gate - Building 708: 78 linear feet of fencing, no gate - Building 712: 48 linear feet of fencing, no gate - Building 926: 121 linear feet of fencing, no gate - Removal and off-base disposal of all old fencing and debris in compliance with environmental regulations - Unique or Notable Requirements: - All materials, labor, and equipment must be contractor-furnished - Fencing must be brown chain-link with brown vinyl-coated slats - Compliance with environmental and safety standards is required - Contractors must follow base entry and identification procedures - Work must be completed within 60 calendar days from award, with a 15-day non-performance period allowed - No specific OEMs or brands are specified; contractors may propose any compliant fencing products - Site visit registration and adherence to base access protocols are required
Description
The Contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to perform all work in accordance with these specifications. Work includes the design and installation and removal of fencing and replacement of the fences at Base Supply building 158, the Thrift Store, building 530, Kaye Auditorium building 708, the Base Chapel building 712, and the Security Forces building 926, on Columbus AFB., Ms. All materials will be contractor furnished. This general outline of work does not, in any way, limit the responsibility of the Contractor to perform all work as specified herein.
NO ADVANCED PAYMENTS WILL BE MADE FOR THIS CONTRACT.
Site Visit, RSVP, and Base Entry: The Government invites you to a site visit on 28 May 2026 at 9:00 AM CDT. Attendance is highly encouraged but not mandatory. Please note that registration is required by 12:00 PM CDT on 21 May 2026. To register, please email the carlius.bankhead@us.af.mil and willie.common.1@us.af.mil requesting a DoD Safe dropoff link to securely upload your completed Entry Authorization Listing (EAL) document (found in the list of SAM.gov attachments). If you do not contact the POC by 12:00 PM CDT on 21 May 2026, you will not be able to attend the site visit.
Identification: All attendees must bring a valid photo ID. Vehicle Requirements: If driving on base, please ensure the driver has driver's license, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance.
IMPORTANT: All contractors should arrive at Columbus AFB’s Visitors Center early and wait for a 14th Contracting Squadron representative to arrive and lead them to the site visit location. The representative will leave the visitors center at 9:00 AM.

The quote must include the total price of completion of the entire job outlined in the SOW. Capability Statement: Submit capability statement in accordance with the Statement of Work. A completed Quote and Capability Statement shall be submitted via email to mcgil_jan.sabado.1@us.af.mil and CC'd to willie.common.1@us.af.mil no later than 12:00 PM CDT on 11 June 2026 for consideration. Please do not copy and paste the Statement of Work. Questions/RFI are due no later than 12:00 PM CDT, 4 June 2026 . The Government is not obligated to accept any Quotes/Capability Statement or to answer any questions submitted after the deadline. It is the vendor's responsibility to monitor the solicitation.
