The Military Sealift Command's Strategic Sealift Program Office is seeking information from potential providers for a 40 or 60-day dry cargo time charter of roll-on/roll-off vessels. - Government Buyer: - Military Sealift Command (MSC), Strategic Sealift Program Office (N103A), MSC HQS Norfolk - Service Requested: - Charter of U.S. or foreign flag roll-on/roll-off vessels - Vessels must have at least 325,000 square feet of militarily useful deck space - Capable of transporting helicopters, tracked and wheeled vehicles, and breakbulk cargo - Charter period options: approximately 40 days (Scenario One) or 60 days (Scenario Two) - Delivery port: Charleston, South Carolina - Redelivery options: Subic Bay (Philippines), Busan (Korea), or Melbourne (Australia) - Notable Requirements: - Respondents must provide vessel specifications, daily charter rates, fuel consumption, and business size - Both U.S. and foreign flag vessels are eligible - No specific OEMs or vessel manufacturers are named; open to all qualified providers - Place of Performance and Delivery: - Delivery at Charleston, SC - Redelivery at one of three international ports - No product line items or part numbers are specified; this is a service charter opportunity
