The National Park Service (NPS), Department of the Interior, is seeking contractors for hazardous materials and universal waste collection, transportation, and disposal services at Grand Canyon National Park. - Government Buyer: - National Park Service (NPS), Department of the Interior - Grand Canyon National Park, Facility Management & Engineering - Products/Services Requested: - Recurring collection, packaging, labeling, manifesting, transportation, and disposal of hazardous and universal waste - Waste streams include: waste oils, solvents, paints, aerosols, mixed chemistry batteries (approx. 1,200 lbs/year), automotive batteries (20/year), fluorescent lamps (2-4 pallets/year), mercury-containing devices, electronic waste (approx. 6,000 lbs/year), propane bottles, camping fuel canisters, contaminated rags, antifreeze, coolant, and miscellaneous hazardous waste (40-60 drums/year) - Services include: quarterly and as-needed pickups at South Rim, North Rim, Desert View, and other park locations - Required documentation: manifests, certificates of disposal, annual reporting - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Strict compliance with RCRA, DOT, ADEQ, and NPS regulations - Contractors must provide all packaging, labeling, transportation, and regulatory documentation - Two Firm-Fixed Price Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) with a three-year ordering period - Pickups must generally occur within two weeks of BPA call award - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation

Description

Grand Canyon National Park (GRCA) requires recurring hazardous materials and universal waste collection, transportation, and disposal services. This includes compliant handling of waste oils, solvents, paints, aerosols, batteries, fluorescent lamps, mercury-containing devices, and electronic waste. The contractor will provide proper packaging, labeling, transportation, documentation, manifests, certificates of disposal, and annual reporting, all in accordance with RCRA, DOT, ADEQ, and NPS regulations.The National Park Service (NPS) contemplates the award of two (2) Firm-Fixed Price Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for services. See attached specifications for details on this requirement.BPA will have a three (3) year ordering period with an anticipated Period of Performance from June 15, 2026 through June 14 2029. Actual Period of Performance will be determined at award. This acquisition has no set aside. Follow all instructions to submit a quote by the date and time set forth in this solicitation.
