The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking small business contractors to renovate the male and female barracks bathrooms at Station San Francisco, located on Yerba Buena Island. - Government Buyer: - Department of Homeland Security, United States Coast Guard - Regional Support Team Southwest (RST-SW), USCG Base Alameda, and Sector San Francisco - Products and Services Requested: - Comprehensive bathroom renovation services for both male and female barracks bathrooms - Demolition and removal of existing bathroom components - Installation of new fixtures and materials, including: - 2 Energy Star rated, quiet-operation ventilation fans (1 per bathroom) - 3 prefabricated shower stalls/bases (male bathroom) - 3 new shower fixtures with mixing valves and single-lever handles (male bathroom) - New composite toilet partitions (male bathroom) - 6 vapor-proof (wet-location rated) lighting fixtures (showers in both bathrooms) - Mold and sag-resistant acoustic ceiling tiles - High-quality semi-gloss acrylic-latex paint (mold and mildew-resistant) - Industrial tile and grout restoration (cleaning, steam treatment, resealing) - Shower stall maintenance and repair in the female bathroom (deep cleaning, re-adhesion, caulking) - Notable Requirements: - 100% small business set-aside under NAICS 238220 (Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors) - Compliance with Buy American construction material provisions - Mandatory site visit coordination prior to bidding - Work must be completed sequentially (one bathroom at a time) to ensure continuous access - All work must be completed within 60 calendar days of Notice to Proceed - No specific OEMs or part numbers are specified; contractors may select products that meet the described requirements - Estimated contract value is between $25,000 and $100,000
