Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR MARKET RESEARCH AND INFORMATION ONLY – THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) OR PROPOSAL (RFP).  NO AWARD WILL BE MADE RESULTING FROM THIS NOTICE

Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Sierra Nevada Region (SNR) requires a contractor to replace KY1A bushings at their Trinity substation, in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.

North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 811310: Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance.  The small business size standard for this industry is $12.5 million.

The Contractor shall provide all personnel, transportation, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform the transformer service as described in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS).  The Contractor shall provide all services including technical services to replace the bushings and ensure the restoration of the system to provide continuous and reliable operation of the transformer. The Contractor shall perform all services in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) specifications.
