NATO RFI for Integrated IT Service Management and Asset/Configuration Management Solution for Deployable Communications Systems

NATO's Communications and Information Agency (NCIA) is seeking industry input for an integrated IT Service Management (ITSM) and Asset/Configuration Management Database solution to support Deployable Communications and Information Systems (DCIS). - The solution must: - Support dual on-premise instances for NATO Restricted (NR) and NATO Secret (NS) domains - Manage over 5,000 assets across 25 units in 14 nations - Provide CMDB capabilities, stock and spare parts management, physical inventory with barcode/QR scanning - Integrate with Oracle EBA and BMC Remedy - Comply with NATO security policies - The contract requires the solution to be operational within 12 months of award - No specific OEMs, vendors, products, or part numbers are named - Place of performance includes NCIA facilities in Belgium, The Netherlands, and other NATO locations in Europe - This is an RFI for planning purposes; post-implementation support will be defined in a future procurement - Interested parties should refer to the attached RFI for submission instructions

Description

The NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA) has issued a Request for Information (RFI) to identify potential sources and gather information regarding industry capabilities to provide an integrated IT Service Management (ITSM) and Asset and Configuration Management solution for Deployable Communications and Information Systems (DCIS) services and assets. 

This RFI is being issued for planning purposes only and is not a request for bids. It is part of NCIA’s effort to ensure it has a clear understanding of the marketplace, available capabilities, and potential acquisition strategies.  Responses to this RFI will assist NCIA in refining requirements, identifying capabilities, and shaping the strategy for any future solicitation.

Do NOT submit your RFI response to the Department of Commerce. Submission instructions and additional details can be found in the RFI (attached).

The NCIA reference for this RFI is MS-424363-ITSM, and all correspondence concerning this matter should reference this number.

The response deadline is NLT 12:00 hours Central European Time (CET) on 02 June 2026.
