Description
The 177th Fighter Wing Mission Support Contracting (MSC) Office intends to award a sole-source contract to TRONAIR Inc. 1 Air Cargo Pwy E Swanton, OH 43558 for two (2) CPT Digital Flowmeter Upgrades for the F-16 Portable Cabin Pressure Tester (Part Number: 15-7609-6000-FJ). This action is executed under the authority of RFO FAR part 12.201-1, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
This sole-source procurement is supported by an approved memorandum applicable to all USAF F-16 Maintenance Units. The memorandum, signed by the AFLCMC Systems Engineering Lead, Mr. Michael J. Vashro, on 30 June 2025, explicitly mandates that these upgrades be performed by TRONAIR.
This notice of intent does not constitute a request for competitive quotes. All capability statements received by the closing date, containing sufficient technical documentation demonstrating the ability to satisfy the requirement, will be evaluated by the 177th MSC. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the 177th MSC.
