The U.S. Coast Guard Sector New York is seeking contractors to renovate and repair the male and female staff locker rooms at its Staten Island facility. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Coast Guard, Department of Homeland Security - Sector New York Engineering Office - Place of Performance: - Coast Guard Sector New York, 216 Coast Guard Drive, Staten Island, NY 10305 - Products and Services Requested: - Replacement of 5 commercial toilets (2 male, 3 female) - Replacement of 2 commercial urinals (male locker room) - Installation of 5 high-density polyethylene (HDPE) bathroom stalls (2 stalls + 1 urinal divider in male, 3 stalls in female) - Replacement of 5 industrial solid surface counters with sinks (2 counters with 2 sinks in male, 1 counter with 2 sinks in female replacing 3 single sinks) - Painting of all walls, trims, and doors (minimum two coats) - Installation of 20 new lockers (10 in each locker room, approx. 72H x 15W x 24D, permanently affixed) - Installation of 2 benches (hardwood laminate surface, stainless steel legs, securely anchored) - Replacement of approximately 340 industrial linoleum floor tiles (2.5 mm or greater thickness) - Installation of 100 linear feet of 4" rubber cove baseboards (50 ft per locker room) - Unique or Notable Requirements: - All plumbing must be performed by licensed plumbers and meet current codes - Contractor must submit material specifications for approval before ordering - Work must comply with SCA regulations and prevailing wage requirements - All work to be completed within 30 days of contract award, Monday-Friday 0700-1530 (after-hours work requires 48-hour advance approval) - Contractor employees must carry REAL ID on site - No specific OEMs or part numbers are specified; contractor must propose materials for approval

Description

This project consists of repairs and renovations to the male and female staff locker rooms to address interior and exterior deficiencies, improve functionality, and restore aesthetic quality. The work will include, but is not limited to floor tile replacement, vanity and sink fixture replacements, toilet and urinal replacements, bathroom stall replacements, wall painting and patching, and locker replacement In accordance wityh the attached Statement Of Work (SOW). SCA regulations appy.  workers compensations (pay and benefits) must be in accordance with the most current Previeling wage rate fo rthe period of preformance and place of preformance .
