Correctional Service Canada (CSC) is seeking third-party providers to deliver Standard First Aid and CPR (Levels A & C) with Automated External Defibrillator (AED) vocational training for offenders at federal institutions in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. - Government Buyer: - Correctional Service Canada (CSC), Contracting and Materiel Services - Senior Procurement Officer: Linda Mandeville - Products/Services Requested: - Standard First Aid and CPR (Levels A & C) with AED certification training - Training sessions at Dorchester Penitentiary (Minimum & Medium Security), Atlantic Institution, Nova Institution for Women, and Springhill Institution - Estimated annual sessions: up to 6 per site, with class sizes up to 12 participants - Certificates valid for three years - Provision of qualified instructors certified to deliver Level A and C First Aid, CPR, and AED training - Training materials, exercises, testing, manuals, handouts, protective equipment, cleaning supplies, and certificates - Reporting of training dates, locations, and participant numbers - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Training must be delivered in English for Nova Scotia and in both English and French for New Brunswick - Instructors must be capable of managing classes with participants facing multiple barriers, including disabilities and mental health needs - Only Canadian suppliers are eligible (Policy on Reciprocal Procurement) - Security requirements apply - Up to two contracts may be awarded (one per region) - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Place of Performance: - Dorchester Penitentiary (Minimum & Medium), Atlantic Institution, Nova Institution for Women, Springhill Institution (all federal correctional facilities in NB and NS)
