Description

The City of Hemet is seeking a qualified contractor to perform a complete, turnkey upgrade of a potable water booster pump system. The work includes removing the existing pump and motor, installing a City supplied 75 HP skid-mounted booster pump, and connecting it to existing piping with contractor-provided fittings. The contractor must furnish and install all necessary electrical infrastructure, including a new control panel, disconnect switch, conduit, wiring, and a variable frequency drive (VFD). Additional responsibilities include installing a City provided SCE meter pedestal, coordinating with Southern California Edison for power service, preparing the site for future SCADA integration, system startup, testing, commissioning, and training City staff on operation and maintenance. All equipment must meet AWWA potable water standards, and the contractor must provide as-built drawings and O&M manuals.
