Description

The fiscal year 2026 (FY26) Spinal Cord Injury Research Program (SCIRP) Translational Research Award (TRA) supports translational research aimed at accelerating the movement of promising ideas in spinal cord injury (SCI) research into clinical applications. This funding opportunity includes an Early-Career Partnership Option allowing two principal investigators, with at least one being an early-career investigator. Applications must include at least one SCI community partner to provide advice and consultation throughout the research project. The program expects to fund approximately 4 awards with a total funding amount of $8,320,000 and a maximum period of performance of 3 years.
