Description
The fiscal year 2026 (FY26) Multiple Sclerosis Research Program (MSRP) Early Investigator Research Award (EIRA) supports Multiple Sclerosis-focused research opportunities for individuals in the early stages of their careers, under the guidance of one or more designated Mentors. This opportunity allows early-stage investigators to develop a research project, investigate a problem or question in MS research, and further their intellectual development as future MS researchers. The Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) expects to allot roughly $1.2 million to fund approximately four awards, each with a total cost cap of $300,000 and a maximum period of performance of 2 years. Applications must address at least one of the FY26 MSRP EIRA focus areas.
