Algonquin College Seeks Inbound and Outbound Insurance Services

Algonquin College is seeking proposals for comprehensive insurance services to support both outbound and inbound populations: - Two distinct insurance services are being procured: - Outbound Insurance (RFP 25029-A): - Provides travel health, emergency, and crisis support coverage - Covers students, other-than-full-time employees, agents, contractors, and volunteers traveling outside Canada - Inbound Insurance (RFP 25029-B): - Provides health insurance for inbound international students - Coverage must be comparable to the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) - Bidders may submit proposals for either or both services, but must submit separate proposals for each - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - No product part numbers or purchase quantities are specified, as this is a services procurement - The procurement is open to qualified insurance providers able to meet the outlined coverage requirements - Performance period is five years, beginning in September 2026 - Services are to be provided for Algonquin College, located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

This procurement consists of two separate Request for Proposals: Outbound Insurance for students and other-than-full-time employees, agents, contractors, and volunteers, and Inbound Insurance for international students. Bidders may submit proposals for either Inbound Insurance Services, Outbound Insurance Services, or both, with separate submissions required for each. Outbound Insurance covers travel health, emergency, and crisis support for Algonquin College students and employees traveling outside Canada. Inbound Insurance provides health insurance coverage for inbound international students comparable to the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP).
